




















David has been a practising lawyer for more than 30 years, specialising in corporate finance, particularly public takeovers, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and equity issues. He joined Clifford Chance as a trainee, qualified in 1976 and has been a Partner since 1981.
David was global head of the Corporate practice during the late 1990s to 2005. In late 2003, David was appointed as the Firm's Global COO.
In May 2006 David became Global Managing Partner of Clifford Chance and was re-appointed for a second four-year term in May 2010.
